Lecture focuses on employee well being

Today’s business environment is increasingly marked by employee stress, reduced loyalty to employers, skills shortages and diversity issues. To address these issues Penn State Great Valley presents “Developing Leadership and Well-being through Formal Mentoring Programs,” noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, Main Building, Room 230, 30 E. Swedesford Rd. in Malvern, Pa. Presenter John J. Sosik, professor of management and organization, will discuss the results and implications of a soon-to-be published longitudinal study on the role of formal mentoring in fostering higher levels of employee well-being and commitment, and development of transformational leadership. This lecture is free and open to the community. To learn more, visit http://www.sgps.psu.edu/Sept2012MRS/default.ashx online.
