August 24, 2012

Penn State Beaver will host the annual Beaver County College Fair from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, in the campus gym.

The free event, which is the premier college fair serving Beaver County students, is co-sponsored by Penn State Beaver and The Times. Registration to attend is not required, and the public is welcome. Adult students as well as high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend.

Representatives from more than 120 colleges, universities, technical schools, and the military will be at the College Fair to answer questions and provide information.

In addition to college recruiters, a representative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) will be available to answer questions about financial aid. Representatives from the Educational Opportunities Center and the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit's Regional Choice Initiative Program also will be available.

Plenty of free parking is available on campus. Visitors should follow directional signs and parking attendants' instructions as they enter campus for the evening.
