Penn State Blue Out shirts now on sale at campus bookstore

Bookstores at Penn State's Commonwealth Campuses, including Beaver campus, are selling Blue Out T-shirts for Penn State's Blue Out football game against Temple, Saturday, Sept. 22, at Beaver Stadium on Penn State's University Park campus. The sale is open to the public.

The idea is the same as that of previous Penn State White Out games, to show a united front of Penn Staters and friends rallying for the same cause -- in this case the awareness and prevention of child and sexual abuse.

Cost of the shirt is $15, and $9 of each sale will benefit the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR). Information about PCAR is available at www.pcar.org.
The front of the shirt features the blue ribbon logo for child abuse awareness as well as the words “2012 Blue Out -- Stop Child Abuse!” The back of the shirt says “We are … One Team, One School, One Heart, One Promise” and features the PCAR website.

For information, contact Annette Keller or Patty Bobbie in the Beaver campus bookstore at ajk13@psu.edu or 724-773-3656 or pgp1@psu.edu or 724-983-2851, respectively.
