New configurations for wireless Internet services at Penn State

Penn State has transitioned solely to Wireless 2.0 as of July 1, and the University’s legacy on-campus wireless VPN service has been discontinued. The new Wireless 2.0 service is designed to provide enhanced security and consistent wireless coverage within and between all Wireless 2.0-enabled buildings and commons areas at most Penn State campuses. Individuals who are in these areas can open up their laptops, search for the new "psu" wireless network identifier, and connect to the next generation of the Penn State Wireless service.
