Africana Research Center sponsors Undergraduate Research Exhibition

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State undergraduates will showcase their research on Saturday, Oct, 20, at the Africana Research Center’s Undergraduate Research Exhibition, which will be held at the Nittany Lion Inn’s Faculty Staff Club Room.

The exhibition is an event for students who have written research papers on topics related to Africa and its Diaspora. Invitation was by faculty nomination only. The day’s activities will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a keynote address by Paul Taylor, head of the Department of African American Studies in the College of the Liberal Arts. Students will report on and discuss issues affecting the African Diaspora.
