Beaver Alumni Society golf outing raises $22,000 for scholarships

The Penn State Beaver Alumni Society’s Twelfth Annual Golf Outing held Sept. 10 raised $22,000 for the group’s endowed scholarship for Beaver campus students. To date, the Alumni Society has raised more than $183,000 for the campus.

Penn State alumni Norman J. Kraus, Jr. chaired the golf outing committee. Other Penn State alumni committee members were Jeffrey Bauman, vice president, Bauman Office Equipment; Deborah Lancos-DeCostro, attorney at law; John Hertneky, consultant, Bayer MaterialScience and lecturer in engineering at Beaver; Laura Tocci, attorney at law; and Vincent Troia. Additional committee members were Nadine Unis, independent consultant; Mona DeLisia, external relations assistant, Beaver campus Development Office; and Diana Patterson, Beaver campus director of development.

Kraus is president of the Alumni Society and MaryEllen Gray is immediate past president. In addition to Lancos-Decostro and Tocci, other Alumni Society members are Jason Barr, Robert Collins, John Italia, George Logue, Susan Mals, Joni Marra and William F. McQuade.
