More than 700 people attended the annual Beaver County College Fair on Oct. 4, in the Penn State Beaver gym. The free event was cosponsored by the Beaver campus and The Beaver County Times and is the premiere college fair serving Beaver County students.
Representatives from more than 120 colleges, universities and technical schools from across the country, including Alabama, Delaware, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, West Virginia and Washington, D.C., attended. Recruiters for all branches of the military were present as were representatives from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, the Educational Opportunities Center and the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit's Regional Choice Initiative Program.
