Holiday concert to feature The Temptations, The Four Tops

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa, -- The Temptations and The Four Tops will present a night of Motown classics and Christmas favorites at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7, in the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State's University Park campus. The concert will be presented by Downtown State College.

For more than 40 years, The Temptations have played sold-out performances throughout the world. The Grammy winners have charted numerous No. 1 hits, including "My Girl," "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," "Get Ready," "Just My Imagination" and "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone." The Four Tops teamed up in high school and spent more than four decades without a personnel change to become one of Motown's most consistent hitmakers, producing such hits as "Baby I Need Your Loving," "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)," "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" and "Ain't No Woman (Like the One I've Got)."

Tickets are $49.75 for reserved intimate theatre seating. Tickets for senior citizens 65 and older are $39.75. Tickets for Penn State students and children younger than 18 will be $20. Special group rates are available by calling 814-863-1812. Tickets are on sale now at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Downtown Theatre, www.bjc.psu.edu or by calling 814-865-5555.
