Computer Store to present tech expo, conference

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State’s Computer Store will present the Tech or Treat: Expo and Conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 24 in the HUB-Robeson Center. The event will feature more than 15 technology vendors and, for the first time, 23 professional development training and learning sessions.

This is the first year that the annual Computer Store event will feature a conference-style dimension incorporating learning sessions on topics related to accessibility, productivity, Penn State tools and product demonstrations. Sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and attendees are required to register before attending a session. To view a list of session descriptions and to register, visit

Current students, faculty and staff also have the opportunity to participate in the expo portion of the event between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and to visit with representatives from Apple, Dell, Toshiba, Adobe, Microsoft, Penn State ITS Training Services and many others. Those who attend the expo will also have the chance to win prizes, including an Xbox 360 and an iPad.
