Center for Online Innovation in Learning seeks grant applicants

The newly formed Center for Online Innovation in Learning (COIL) is sponsoring a call for "Research Initiation Grant" (RIG) proposals, and will hold two webinars to share additional information regarding the proposal process and criteria for selection.The COIL RIG seed grants are designed to stimulate research and development in areas related to online innovation with a direct impact on teaching and learning. Teams, including faculty, staff and students, should submit proposals for research funding for the 2012-2013 academic year by Nov. 30.The 45-minute webinar sessions will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, and at noon Thursday, Oct. 25. Both sessions will be available via ConnectPro webinar at http://meeting.psu.edu/coil/ online. Registration is not necessary to join the COIL RIG Information webinars.
