UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- A panel of faculty members will remember author, historian and social critic Ivan Illich from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 3, in 112 Walker Building. Illich held a visiting professor appointment in the Department of Philosophy, and the Science, Technology and Society program for more than 10 years at Penn State. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Illich's death. Meetings and conferences relating to Illich's work are being held in Mexico, Italy, Germany, Croatia and France to mark the anniversary. All are welcome to celebrate his life and contributions. Light refreshments will follow.
