CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society will host Dance for a Cure, a fundraiser to benefit THON and the Four Diamonds Fund, from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. on Jan. 25 at Mixx Sports Bar in Allentown, Pa. The event, which will feature a variety of dance styles that attendees can learn, is open to adults age 21 and older, and tickets are $15.

The event will offer the chance to learn a variety of dance styles, including line dance, Zumba, hip hop, and salsa, as well as the ability to participate in trivia and a raffle for prizes. Refreshments also will be available.

Dance for a Cure is the first event organized by the Society's THON Alumni committee. The committee aims to support the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus THON team's efforts to help conquer childhood cancer which culminates each year in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon held at University Park in February.

The event is open to the public but tickets are required. Tickets are available at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Bookstore or by contacting Liz Gerancher at 484-358-5735.
