Event focuses on managing staff through IT systems changes

During large-scale changes to new information technology (IT) system implementation, employees may be apprehensive while adapting to the new system and its accompanying business.

Denise Potosky, professor, management and organization at Penn State Great Valley, will present her research on leadership roles and behaviors critical to the development and implementation of IT advancements within organizations. “How to Lead Your Organization Out of the Valley of Despair: Guidelines for Large-scale IT Systems Change” is part of the school’s management research showcase series and will be held noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 13, Room 230, Main Building, 30 E.
