'Downton Abbey' producer to take fan questions on WPSU-TV

Central Pennsylvania fans of the British drama “Downton Abbey” will have an exclusive opportunity to pose questions to the executive producer of the hit PBS series.

Rebecca Eaton will appear as a phone-in guest and field questions from fans on the next episode of WPSU-TV’s new show, “After Abbey.” The episode will air at 10 p.m. Feb. 3.

Over the course of her career as a producer, Eaton has won 20 Primetime Emmy Awards, 11 Peabody Awards and a Golden Globe. She has served as producer of Masterpiece since 1985.

“After Abbey” provides a forum for “Downton Abbey” fans to talk with the show’s hosts and special guests. Discussions recap each episode and allow fans to predict what might happen next. “After Abbey” airs immediately following new “Downton Abbey” episodes at 9 p.m. Sundays and can also be seen at wpsu.org.

An estimated 7.9 million viewers tuned in for the Season 3 premiere Jan. 6.
