A conversation with Michael Berkman

man with piece of paper speaks

The days may be getting cooler, but Research Unplugged conversations are heating up each Wednesday at noon. Last week Michael Berkman led a lively discussion titled, "Election 2008: Change, Reform, or More of the Same?" An attentive audience joined us as Berkman, professor of political science and director of undergraduate studies, explained the polling system, how the candidates look so far, and how their past voting records might predict their future policies if elected.

Join us on Wednesday 11/5 at noon in the Penn State Downtown Theatre for Galactic Cannibals: How Massive Galaxies Devour their Neighbors, led by Christopher Palma, Eberly College of Science Outreach.
