Three men stand in a steel chamber, around a steel blade and next to a larger rotor. The rotor and the walls of the chamber are covered in ice.

Jack Langelaan, Jose Palacios and Sven Schmitz, all associate professors in aerospace engineering at Penn State, are posed with the rotor and blade they are testing in a chamber that can reach minus 145 Celsius, only about 50 degrees warmer than the surface of Saturn's largest moon.
