Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Cornell University are conducting field studies to determine if two naturally occurring fungi — Batkoa major and Beauveria bassiana — can kill spotted lanternflies. Shown is a specimen from the study that is covered in Beauveria bassiana spores.
