Dr. Paul Haidet - arts in medical education

Paul Haidet speaks into a microphone at the rear of a classroom. Students type on laptops or look at the large screens and chalk board in the front of the room. A row of five students are seated, facing the class in the front of the room.

Dr. Paul Haidet, a distinguished professor of medicine, humanities, and public health sciences, works with first year medical students during a recent critical thinking class. Haidet and colleagues from Penn State College of Medicine and other institutions will review how the arts and humanities are being used to train physicians.
