Archaeological Field School

Students participating in the Penn State Department of Anthropology's archaeological field school excavated the Foster Farmstead, a 19th-century historic site located on the northeast corner of the grounds of the Arboretum at Penn State. The course provides hands-on learning in site gridding, excavating and preservation of artifacts.
