University shares fall departure plan for transition to remote instruction
Penn State has announced procedures and assistance available to students for the fall departure from campuses, as well as COVID-19 testing and quarantine and isolation procedures after in-person instruction ends on Nov. 20.

Penn State police supervisor graduates from School of Police Staff and Command
Penn State University Police Deputy Chief Dale Osenbach recently graduated from Northwestern University's Center for Public Safety following the completion of an extensive, in-residence program that provides advanced leadership training specific to law enforcement. Osenbach is the deputy chief for Penn State police stations in the Southeast District, which includes the Abington, Berks, Brandywine and Great Valley campuses.

Deadline extended for Erickson Discovery Grants
Erickson Discovery Grant applications are open for summer 2021 funding. The program provides $3,500 toward expenses of a student-initiated independent project.

Fair Trade Month
October is Fair Trade Month and Penn State Brandywine's Zoia Pavlovskaia, lecturer in business, was honored for her volunteer work with the Media Fair Trade Committee. Zoia received her award at a recent Media Borough Council meeting from none other than a Fair Trade banana. Congratulations, Zoia!
