Abington crisis communication course tackles COVID-19 pandemic
Students enrolled in a crisis management course are examining the pandemic and its lessons and developing recommendations that the government and even individuals can follow. It's the kind of real-world experience that students can expect to have at Penn State Abington.

Brandywine campus clubs support students remotely during coronavirus outbreak
As students at Penn State Brandywine continue adjusting to the new reality of social distancing and remote learning, two campus clubs have gone "online" to support students during the global coronavirus pandemic.

Penn State student leaders share message on importance of completing 2020 census
Penn State student leaders shared a message Friday for all Penn State students about the importance of completing the 2020 census during this period of remote learning. "We know most of you are not living near your campuses right now, but the Census Bureau emphasizes the importance of counting yourselves at the place where you live and sleep most of the time," they wrote.

Penn State to recognize class of 2020 with virtual commencement ceremony
In response to the growing coronavirus pandemic, orders from the state government and recommendations from global public health organizations, Penn State will hold its spring 2020 commencement ceremony via livestream on May 9. The virtual ceremony will recognize all Penn State undergraduate students and all graduate students in the Penn State Graduate School.

Dickinson Business Law Society offering virtual pop-up clinics for entrepreneurs
When people can't leave their houses to attend an event, you bring the event to them. With residents across Pennsylvania sheltering in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, Penn State Dickinson Law's Business Law Society is converting two upcoming entrepreneur pop-up clinics to virtual sessions, allowing people to participate from their homes.

Brandywine makes donation of medical supplies
Penn State Brandywine donated gloves, protective suits and safety glasses to the Delaware County Emergency Services Department for use by medical personnel and first responders. Chancellor Marilyn Wells (left) presented the personal protective equipment to Emergency Services Director Tim Boyce (center) and Delaware County Council Member Christine Reuther (right). The equipment is typically used in campus science labs.
