Penn State, Monash libraries team up for second Great Rare Books Bake Off
Penn State's Eberly Family Special Collections Library is again teaming up with Special Collections at Monash University in Australia for a rare recipe baking challenge. Volunteers are needed to discover the hidden gems of the universities' historical recipes and help Penn State win The Great Rare Books Bake Off.

Penn State alumni to kick off 2021-22 Mary E. Rolling Reading Series
Two Penn State alumni - novelist James Charlesworth and poet Leah Huizar - will kick off this year's Mary E. Rolling Reading Series at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9. The reading, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Paterno Library's Foster Auditorium and will also be available via livestream.

Penn State University Press announces fall 2021 virtual author event lineup
Penn State University Press has announced the Fall 2021 lineup for PSU Press Presents, a monthly series of free virtual events that feature authors of new and recent books in conversation with each other. Topics reflect the wide range of subjects published by the Press, including sensory studies, rhetoric, world religions, medieval studies and many more.

New community of practice supports Power BI users at Penn State
The Penn State Office of Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research (OPAIR) and Penn State World Campus, with support from Penn State University Libraries and Cloud Services, have created a community of practice to support Power BI users at the University.
