Story: University Libraries honors 2021 employee award recipients
On May 20, Penn State University Libraries recognized seven outstanding faculty and staff based at Penn State Berks and the University Park campus. Faye Chadwell, dean of University Libraries and Scholarly Communications, presided over a virtual awards ceremony to continue a tradition of recognizing employees that spans at least 47 years.

In celebration of Juneteenth this Saturday, June 19, Penn State University Libraries has compiled a listing of resources, including books, articles, films, artifacts, exhibits and more, that uplift those voices — throughout history and today ­— who promote the work of dismantling racism, with the intention of providing educational resources and continued dialogue.

PA Center for the Book announces 'Route 1 Reads' poetry title for 2021
For the seventh consecutive year, the Pennsylvania Center for the Book will participate in "Route 1 Reads," a road trip-inspired reading list that explores various genres through the network of state Center for the Book affiliates located along Route 1. In 2021, the theme of the reading list is poetry, and Pennsylvania's selection is a multidisciplinary title by two Penn State faculty and published by Penn State University Press.
