People often react negatively to health messages, but new research reveals that interactive media can soften negative reactions -- or reactance -- to health messages that are distributed online.

New improvements to make Penn State account management more convenient
Members of the University community can now manage their identity and personal contact information in one convenient dashboard. As a result, all Penn State Account holders are asked to log in to accounts.psu.edu to verify their information and make updates as needed.

IST instructor keeps students engaged remotely with interpretive discussions
How does modern digital technology shape our world and our perceptions? That is a question investigated by students in an emerging issues and technologies course this spring in the College of Information Sciences and Technology. Structured around a text by Martin Heidegger titled The Question Concerning Technology, students were given opportunities throughout the semester to post thought-provoking discussion questions and present their viewpoints.

Support for iClicker student response system to conclude after spring 2022  
iClicker, the University's standardized student response system, will no longer be supported by Penn State IT after May 2022. Instructors may still use iClicker after May 2022 at their own discretion, but IT technical support will not be provided.
