As the Student Government Association president at Penn State Abington, Vedan Desai represents the campus's population of more than 3,700. He leads an organization that provides support and advocacy, enhances the college experience, and builds a more connected and cohesive community.

Brandywine inducts first class into athletics hall of fame
Penn State Brandywine inducted the inaugural class into its new athletics hall of fame during a ceremony and dinner on Jan. 25. The 2019-20 class of inductees included three former staff members — athletic directors Dan Doran and Doris 'Tiz' Martin-Griffith and men's basketball coach Bill Wiley — as well as three former student-athletes — Dana Johnson-Altobelli (women's basketball), Michael Menichini (men's basketball) and Julie A. Munch (women's basketball/soccer).

University Libraries offers workshops for Open Access policy, copyright issues
Penn State students, faculty and staff can participate in free online workshops that cover Penn State's new Open Access policy as well as copyright issues and funder policies for public access to research.

Penn State restricts University-affiliated student travel to China
Penn State has placed China on the restricted list for University-affiliated international travel for students and is urging faculty and staff to reconsider their travel to the country until the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, "2019-nCoV," is contained. This move was prompted by the elevated State Department advisory, following established University practices.
