The Student Farm's seed starting event gives plants a head start on the growing season.
Starting the seeds early
On March 14, 2018, Student Farm interns, club members, and Centre County Master Gardeners gathered for a seed starting event in one of Penn State’s greenhouses.

Leslie Pillen, associate director of the Sustainable Food Systems Program, was on hand to assist and provide direction during the seed starting event.
