Commissioning of former Penn State football player Stephen Stephenson as officer in Marines
During a ceremony this morning — standing on the Beaver Stadium field where he played corner for Penn State football last season — Stephen Stephenson was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. Stephenson will be attending The Basic School (TBS) in Quantico, Va., for his initial training.
