Dancers, Moralers, THON family members and others learned the THON 2010 line dance soon after THON began Friday evening at the Bryce Jordan Center. Dancers will perform the line dance at various intervals throught the 46-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping event that raises money for the Four Diamonds Fund.

Now wearing various colors instead of the white shirts they donned at the start of THON, dancers concentrate on getting the moves right for the line dance in the early-morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 20. The line dance is played periodically throughout THON to get the dancers to focus, and more importantly, to stretch their muscles.

Dancers get a little time off their feet during THON's Slides of Strength, where they run and slide head-first on well-powdered mats, to enjoy a 10-second massage given by several people lining the mats. This particular Slides of Strength session, held around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, was sponsored by the Penn State Blue Band.
