Shaver's Creek Halloween 1
Shaver's Creek will host its annual Children's Halloween Trail and Festival this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 25-26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Preregistration is helpful by calling 814-863-2000 or 814-667-3424. The cost is $5 per person, free for children 3 years and younger.

In addition, there will be plenty of pumpkin carving to do at Shaver's Creek on Thursday evening, Oct. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. The public is invited to participate.

While Bethany's resulting jack-o'-lantern may be scary to some, others not seeking thrills and chills can explore the kid-friendly Halloween Trail. Visitors are sent on their way along the trail every 15 minutes from 11 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. on both days of the festival.
