Construction workers prepared the foundation of the Lt. Michael P. Murphy and Penn State Veterans Plaza for additional wall placement on the morning of Aug. 13. The Veterans Plaza, located between Old Main and McAllister building on the University Park campus, is scheduled for dedication on Sept. 14.

Butch Haus, right, and Chris Hubler finalized the location for a drill hole on the foundation of the Lt. Michael P. Murphy and Penn State Veterans Plaza on Aug. 13. The Plaza, a gift from the Penn State graduating class of 2011, will honor Lt. Michael P. Murphy, Penn State's only medal of honor recipient, as well as all Penn Staters who have bravely served in the military dating back to the civil war.
