Celebrating Penn State Entrepreneurs and Innovators

Each spring, Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC brings together the best and brightest Penn State student and alumni entrepreneurs and innovators for a week-long entrepreneurship immersion and celebration of the magic that happens when Penn State’s inspired doers put their great ideas into action. All Penn State students are invited on March 22-26 to virtually attend events featuring keynote speakers and change-makers, entrepreneurial workshops, mini pitch competitions, and gain access to entrepreneurship resources and networking –—all accessible from the comfort of your home, apartment or dorm.

Startup Week virtual event highlights include:

  • Plenary panels: Attend engaging discussions highlighting high-profile entrepreneurs and innovators.
  • Keynotes, workshops and networking: Learn from presenters on how to navigate your entrepreneurial journey by participating in workshops with other students and networking with campus and industry thought leaders.
  • Startup Market hosted by Lion LaunchPad: Students can discover the various campus, community, and student resources focused on entrepreneurship, and can connect with resource ambassadors to learn how they can get involved.
  • Small Business and Startup Career Fair hosted by Career Services: Students who are seeking opportunities within a small business or startup environment can attend this unique career fair. Open to all Penn State students of any academic year or major, the fair will feature employers who are seeking candidates for full-time, internship, co-op and research positions.
  • Student competitions: Explore entrepreneurship and innovation in a variety of fields in a series of challenges and pitch competitions, including mini-challenges held during Startup Week.
