  • Fan Cut Outs to Jordan Center

    Katie Solomon, Executive Director for THON 2021, helped a group of volunteers move the cardboard cutout fans from Beaver Stadium to the Bryce Jordan Center on Feb. 10. The cutout's were displayed throughout football season at the stadium, and now will be on display at the Bryce Jordan Center during THON Weekend Feb. 19 to 21. A portion of the proceeds from the cutout's supports THON.

  • 1 week old Calves

    The Penn State Dairy Barn, part of the Department of Animal Science, welcomed several new calves to the herd just five days ago. The calves are being monitored, fed and cared for in the facility's calf barn, where they will remain for five weeks.

  • Tawanda Zimudzi

    Tawanda Zimudzi, part of the technical research staff at Penn State's Materials Research Institute, pours liquid nitrogen into a cryo-trap to clear contaminants in a vacuum chamber before starting a new molecular spectroscopy study. Molecular spectroscopy is the study of a material's stability as molecules undergo change.
