The Gulf of Mexico: Investigating the potential for hidden threats

Penn State Professor of Biology Chuck Fisher is very familiar with the sea floor of the Gulf of Mexico. Following the Deepwater Horizon rig disaster in April 2010, concerns arose about the potential for long term damage to the sea floor and its inhabitants. Fisher and a team of scientists from across the nation are investigating how the unique life forms that dwell deepest in the Gulf are adapting and surviving. Produced for Penn State by Patrick Mansell.
