The following is a list of Penn State fixed-term faculty promotions, effective July 1.
Dawn Blasko, associate professor of psychology at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has been appointed executive director of the University Faculty Senate. Blasko, who will begin her new role on July 1, has been a member of the Faculty Senate for nearly 17 years and is a past chair.
Rebecca Miller, associate librarian and head of Penn State University Libraries' Library Learning Services, is one of five Penn State faculty to be named a 2017 Big Ten Academic Alliance Department Executive Officer fellow. Approximately 65 faculty department heads and chairs from Big Ten universities are selected annually for the program.
Five members of the Penn State University Libraries — Ann Thompson, Wendy Stodart, John Shank, Jacqueline Peagler, and Karla Schmit — were honored for their outstanding contributions toward the success of Libraries’ operations, diversity and inclusion, and innovation.
