Penn State Mont Alto had good reason to celebrate Oct. 19 at its 17th annual Scholarship Reception, a celebration of philanthropy that unites students with the donors who made their scholarship possible. This semester, 282 Mont Alto students are receiving scholarship support totaling $400,856. Additionally, Mont Alto's director of development, Randall Ackerman, announced four new gifts to the campus totaling $827,000.
