Center Theatre marks 30th anniversary with 'Jesus Christ Superstar'
The Center Theatre Players will mark their 30th anniversary of presenting theatre for the Penn State Beaver Brodhead Cultural Center with a production of "Jesus Christ Superstar," 7:30 p.m., July 26, 27, and 28, in the campus Student Union Building. Tickets are on sale, and advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets are $15 for all ages. All seating is general, and tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be purchased Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Beaver campus Ross Administration Building, suite 202. In addition, tickets can be ordered by mail by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope with a detailed request for tickets, contact information, and a check payable to Penn State. Mail request to: Brodhead Cultural Center Penn State Beaver, 100 University Drive, Monaca, PA 15061. If available, tickets will be sold on the night of each performance beginning at 6 p.m. in the auditorium lobby. Penn State Equine Science Showcase and Quarter Horse Sale April 28
The 10th anniversary edition of the Equine Science Showcase and Quarter Horse Sale will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on April 28 in the Snider Agricultural Arena on Penn State's University Park campus.
Campus United Way Committee conducts gourmet food sale
The public is invited to enjoy Joe Corbi's gourmet pizza, pastries, breads, and pretzels to help the Penn State Beaver United Way Committee raise funds for the United Way of Beaver County. A large selection of food items and holiday gifts is available, including gourmet pizza, cookie dough, cinnamon rolls,chee-zee bread, cinna-bread, pretzels, calzones, pumpkin rolls, cinnamon twists, pies, and cheese cakes. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Beaver County.
Checks are payable to Penn State UW Benefit Fund and orders can be placed with any of the following members of the United Way Committee:

This May, enjoy the experience of working in Beaver Stadium for a good cause. Those interested in working with Trash to Treasure can sign up alone or bring friends and/or co-workers for a rewarding activity that greatly benefits many local organizations and the Centre County United Way.
