Students encouraged to apply for Buick Achievers Scholarship

Current or prospective Penn State students majoring, or planning to major, in engineering, technology, design, or business, with an interest in the auto industry, are encouraged to apply for the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program funded by the GM Foundation. Athletic Open House available to prospective students

Prospective students and their families are invited to attend the Athletic Open House at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. The Open House will begin with an optional tour at 9 a.m. Dec. 8 in the Community Center. The program will begin at 10 a.m.

The Penn State Beaver Admissions Office will sponsor a Veterans Day Open House, 9 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11. Prospective students will visit with admissions and financial aid staff to learn about Penn State's academic programs while gaining insight into financing a college education. A second Open House, along with an Application Workshop, will be held 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 19. An additional Application Workshop will be held 3 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30. To register for an event or obtain more information, contact the Admissions Office at br-admissions@psu.edu or 1-877-JOIN-PSU, or visit www.beaver.psu.edu.

Discover what Penn State York has to offer during a Saturday information session from 9-11 a.m. on Aug. 6. The information session will take place in the Community Room of the campus' Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center and is free and open to the public.

Participants can take a tour of campus, learn more about the admission process, financial aid, student activities, and more about how the lion roars in York. Discover what Penn State York and Penn State have to offer. Enjoy a summer day, from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, or a summer evening from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 21; talk with admission representatives and learn more about financial aid, academic programs and student life.
