Jack Levin will offer a free presentation titled "Serial Killers: Up Close and Personal," at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the auditorium of the Penn State Beaver Student Union Building. The public is invited to attend. Levin specializes in the study of violence and hate, and has examined and interviewed serial killers, mass murderers, violent criminals and perpetrators of hate crimes while exploring their methods and mentalities. He is the author or co-author of 30 books about crime, criminals, and hate, and has developed theories about conditions under which the worst crimes can occur.
