A new 1,400-square foot student lounge in Lawrence Hall will open this week. The lounge includes foosball, flat-screen TVs and blue-felt billiards tables with Nittany Lions carved into the sides.

The room is called Oliver's - a nod to Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, whose victory in the Battle of Lake Erie is honored in each of the named residence halls at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. It will open for student use on Thursday, Jan. 10.
