The Blue & White Society will welcome new and returning students this week — and celebrate its 20th birthday — with its annual fall semester kickoff event, Blue & White Bash. The Bash will be held from 5–7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 at the Hintz Family Alumni Center on the University Park campus.
One of Penn State’s most involved student organizations turns two decades old this year, with plans to continue the same level of energy and enthusiasm the group’s student leaders have displayed over the years.
Graduation is just around the corner for the Class of 2013, and with it comes the annual Penn State Senior Sendoff, to be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. This is a free event and all seniors are welcome to attend.
Penn State's newest tradition, Fall Fest Featuring University House, will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the University House lawn on the Hintz Family Alumni Center grounds on the University Park campus of Penn State. Attendees will enjoy free food, entertainment, interactive tours of University House, and a special performance by My Hero Zero. This is a free event, and all are welcome to attend.
"Research Milestones: We are...innovative" is the theme of an exhibit on display through Jan. 15, 2013, in the Hintz Family Alumni Center's Robb Hall on Penn State's University Park campus. By focusing on the accomplishments of 32 Penn State faculty researchers, the exhibit documents more than 150 years of distinguished faculty research and creative achievements. Topics span the gamut of scholarly inquiry and creativity, and are as diverse as art education, computer technology, the Penn State Heart, legal forensics, dementia and cinematography.
