The Penn State Beaver Office of Continuing Education will offer "Counseling and Teaching Youth at Risk," a three-credit graduate class for teachers and counselors, 5-8:30 p.m., Thursdays, March 1 through May 3 at Lincoln Junior-Senior High School in Ellwood City, Pa.

This course is designed to provide educators, counselors, therapists, psychologists and other health-education professionals with an overview of information focused on counseling and teaching youth-at-risk.

Students in one hotel, restaurant, and institutional management course get a sneak peak at some of the complex decisions they'll have to make as future hotel managers. In the course, HRIM 480: Advanced Hotel Management, students assume the role of manager through a computer simulation known as Hotel Operational Training Simulation (HOTS).
