The Penn State Hazleton Alumni Society is sponsoring a bus trip to the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts in downtown State College on Saturday, July 14.

Popularly known as “Arts Fest,” the event draws tens of thousands of people to check out 300 of the country’s best artists selling a variety of fine art and crafts during the sidewalk sale and exhibition. The event also features an Italian Street Painting Festival, a giant sand sculpture and a juried fine art gallery exhibition, Images 2018.

Anyone is welcome to join the group for the trip. The bus departs at 8 a.m. from Lot A at Penn State Hazleton and leaves University Park at 7 p.m. to return to Hazleton.

The cost is $40 and includes bus transportation, water, coffee, snacks and the opportunity to participate in prize raffles. All proceeds benefit the Alumni Society Scholarship Fund at Penn State Hazleton.

Seats are limited, so those interested should register soon. For more information, contact Jaculin Scarcella at 570-450-3560 or jbs22@psu.edu.
