Spring Executive Management Forum announced at Penn State Wilkes-Barre

LEHMAN, Pa. — On Wednesday, May 23, Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education department will present the Spring Executive Management Series, held at the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre, beginning at 7:45 a.m.

During this Executive Management Forum, three speakers will provide an overview of the technologies driving business automation, including actual installed examples, and the factors that should be considered in both financial analysis and human resources. Keynote speakers include Daren Coudriet, director, EdTech Network and Entrepreneur in Residence at Penn State; Alex Fried, senior purchasing manager for global energy purchases at Procter & Gamble; and Michael McHale, chief executive officer at Production System Automation.

The topic is "Automation in Business: Driving Competitive Advantage, Part 1: Key Factors & Measuring ROI." One of the best examples of a company that is leveraging automation as a competitive advantage is Amazon. They have taken supply chain management and customer service to a whole new level through the use of robotics, artificial intelligence and other technologies. But many other companies are doing the same, leveraging technology to reduce costs, improve customer service, reduce time to market, etc. What are some of the key technologies and considerations every business owner should be thinking about in automating their business? A question and answer session will follow.

The cost is $20 per person; Payment in full must accompany registration. E-mail, fax, or telephone registration must be accompanied by the registrant's credit card information. Five business days will be required to cancel a registration and not incur the registration fee. Substitution for registered participants will be accepted.
