Weekend event to cause traffic, transit changes on campus

The ASME E-Fest Human-Powered Vehicle Challenge will be held along Curtin Road near the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15, and will result in the following traffic, parking and transit changes:

- Curtin Road will be closed between University Drive and Porter Road all day on Saturday and Sunday.

- The Jordan East parking lot will be closed north of Dauer Road on Saturday and Sunday - all vehicles (including University vehicles) must be removed from the lot by midnight Friday night. The section of Jordan East located south of Dauer Road will remain open throughout the weekend and will be accessible from University Drive via Dauer or from Porter Road. Stadium West, Porter North and Porter South will also remain open for normal weekend parking.

- The Orange L East parking area will be available to vehicles displaying a valid Penn State parking permit on Saturday (accessible only from University Drive via Dauer Road), but will not be available on Sunday.

- Both CATABUS stops located along the closed section of Curtin Road, as well as those located along Porter Road between Park Avenue and Curtin Road will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. Temporary stops will be established this weekend on each side of University Drive near the Curtin Road intersection, and both regular stops located along Porter Road near Medlar Field will remain available for use. The routes affected by these changes are the Blue Loop, HP, NV, Red Link and the VN. More information can be found at https://catabus.com.
