School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture to hold LABash 2018

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at Penn State will host the 48th annual LABash from Thursday, April 5, to Saturday, April 7.

At LABash, students and professionals come together to celebrate landscape architecture with a lineup of speakers, workshops and networking opportunities, meant to expand student's professional skills and deepen the understanding of how each individual plays a role in impacting our world.

The event will kickoff at 5 p.m. Thursday at the State Theatre in downtown State College. Friday's schedule will feature three keynote speakers: Gina Ford, landscape architect, co-founder and principal of Agency Landscape + Planning; Susannah C. Drake, founding principal of DLANDstudio Architecture + Landscape Architecture; and Ken Smith, owner of Ken Smith Workshop of New York City and Irvine, California. Saturday's schedule includes a slate of workshops and lectures, and a closing reception.
