50 colleges, military branches represented at Penn State Hazleton college fair

Penn State Hazleton will host a college fair featuring representatives from numerous other colleges on Thursday, March 22.

The Tri-County Regional College Fair is open to all high school students at no cost. It will be held in the Dr. Thomas M. Caccese Gymnasium in the Physical Education Building at Penn State Hazleton. Participants can choose to attend from 10 a.m. to noon or from 6 to 8 p.m. March 22.

“This event is a great opportunity for our region’s students to explore their options after high school from one convenient location. Most college fairs in our region happen in the fall and we wanted to give high school students the opportunity to start their college search earlier by offering this event in the spring,” Director of Admissions Allen Koehler said.

Representatives from more than 50 colleges, universities and military branches across Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey will be available to share information and answer questions about their location. The event provides students and their parents the opportunity to explore a variety of higher education options all in one place.

Registration is not required for the event. To learn more, contact the admissions office at Penn State Hazleton at 570-450-3142 or visit www.hazleton.psu.edu/college-fair.
