Foster youth awareness event, 'Building Resilience and Hope,' April 7

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — “Building Resilience and Hope,” an awareness event about foster youth, will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on April 7, in the Founder’s Room of the Bryce Jordan Center, University Park.

The keynote speaker for the event is Penn State alumna Sharon M. McDaniel, Ed.D., founder, president and chief executive of A Second Chance, Inc.

The event is free, but space is limited and registration is required here. Lunch will be provided.
