Metallica to make first appearance at Bryce Jordan Center since 1997

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Metallica will return to University Park for the first time in 21 years when its WorldWired tour stops at the Bryce Jordan Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.

Comedian Jim Breuer will open the show with comedy, fan interaction, giveaways and more. The tour supports Metallica’s “Hardwired … To Self-Destruct” album, and each ticket purchased comes with the choice of a physical or digital copy of the album.

Tickets for the show start at $65 and go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, March 2, and can be purchased at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Downtown Theatre, by calling 800-745-3000, or online at https://www1.ticketmaster.com.
