University Police investigating Libraries theft

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — University Police are investigating the theft of University property from the Pattee Library/Paterno Library/and Engineering Library (Hammond Building). Police are seeking to identify the pictured person. If you have any information regarding the thefts or the identity of the person, please notify University Police immediately.

If you have any information regarding the theft, or the identity of the person, please notify Penn State University Police at 814-863-1111 or submit tips to Centre County CrimeStoppers via email to tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org. Those providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 from Centre County CrimeStoppers.

University Police also would like to remind the community to:

  • Report all suspicious persons and activities to Police immediately.
  • Don’t leave belongings unattended; even for short periods of time.
  • Trust your instincts. If you feel unsafe, get to a safe place and call for help.
