Alumni headline 'PSU Talks'

Four personal journeys, 'From Happy Valley to Hollywood,' the focus of Feb. 24 event at UCLA

LOS ANGELES — Four prominent Penn State alumni from the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications and the College of Arts and Architecture will headline "PSU Talks: Four Personal Journeys from Happy to Hollywood" at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the James Bridges Theater on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles.

Each featured speaker will share his or her individual story in 10-minute presentations, followed by a group question-and-answer session moderated by Professor Robert Richards, head of the Penn State Hollywood Program.

Speakers will be:

— Jonathan Frakes, class of 1974 — producer, director, actor

— Suzanne Kamenir, class of 1993 — vice president, global creative marketing, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment

— Michael Robinson, class of 2004, 2006 — studio analyst, NFL Network

— Jess Weiner, class of 1995 — CEO, Talk To Jess; cultural changemaker
